Week 12:
In the 49ers' Week 12 victory against the Seahawks, Brandon Aiyuk made a notable impact by securing 2 receptions out of 4 targets, amassing 50 yards, and adding a crucial touchdown.
While the spotlight was mostly on Deebo Samuel in the San Francisco pass-catching department during Week 12, with Samuel leading with nine targets and seven receptions for 79 yards along with a rushing touchdown, Aiyuk managed to make his presence felt with a game-sealing touchdown in the fourth quarter. Despite receiving five fewer targets than Samuel, Aiyuk showcased his playmaking ability by splitting the Seattle secondary down the middle for a long catch. In a determined effort, he dove into the end zone, overcoming the challenge of two defenders sandwiching him to secure six points.
Week 11:
In the 49ers' Week 11 victory over the Bucs, Brandon Aiyuk showcased a stellar performance, securing 5 receptions out of 6 targets for an impressive 156 yards and a touchdown.
This game marked a career high in receiving yards for Aiyuk, who entered the match as the NFL leader in average yards of separation per route. His stellar separation skills were on full display, dominating the Buccaneers across the field. Aiyuk's ability to make defenders miss was evident, and his touchdown came from a picturesque deep ball by Brock Purdy after Aiyuk outmaneuvered his coverage in a single matchup with no safety assistance.
Week 10:
In the 49ers' Week 10 triumph over the Jaguars, Brandon Aiyuk made a significant impact, catching all three of his targets for 55 yards and securing his first touchdown since Week 1.
Remarkably, Aiyuk's scoring play was unconventional—a 13-yard reception in the end zone where he utilized a push-off to create separation, connecting with a pass from the improvising Brock Purdy.
Week 9: BYE WEEK
Week 8:
In the 49ers' 31-17 loss to the Bengals on Sunday, Aiyuk showcased his receiving prowess by securing five receptions out of nine targets, amassing an impressive 109 yards.
Despite the team's defeat, Aiyuk finished as the second-highest contributor in receiving yards for the afternoon, marking the third time this season that he has surpassed the century mark. Throughout the campaign, the fourth-year pro has consistently played a valuable role in the passing attack.
Week 7:
In Monday's 22-17 loss to Minnesota, Aiyuk secured five receptions out of six targets, accumulating 57 yards.
With Deebo Samuel sidelined due to a shoulder injury, Aiyuk assumed the role of San Francisco's No. 1 wide receiver. Despite his consistent production through seven weeks, the 25-year-old has faced a recent drought in touchdowns, having not scored since Week 1.
Week 6:
In Sunday's 19-17 loss to Cleveland, Aiyuk secured four receptions on 10 targets, accumulating 76 yards.
As the sole player targeted more than four times for San Francisco, Aiyuk stepped up in a game where both Deebo Samuel (shoulder) and Christian McCaffrey (oblique) exited early. He contributed 76 yards to Brock Purdy's 125 passing yards, with two crucial catches for 33 yards during San Francisco's final drive. Regardless of the availability of other playmakers, Aiyuk is poised for a significant role in Week 7 against the Vikings on MNF.
Week 5:
Statline: 7 TGTs | 4 REC | 58 REC YARDS
Aiyuk's 58 receiving yards turned out to be the highest among wideouts on Sunday's game, surpassed only by tight end George Kittle with 67 yards and three touchdown grabs. 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy showcased his skills by involving all of his star playmakers, including Brandon Aiyuk, to rout the Cowboys 42-10.
With an average of 97.5 yards over four active games this season, Aiyuk continues to shine. Last year, during his breakout campaign, he averaged 59.7 yards per game. This consistent performance is a testament to his growth and impact on the team.
Looking ahead, Aiyuk and the undefeated 49ers will hit the road in Week 6 to face the Browns next Sunday. Their dynamic play and unbeaten streak make this matchup one to watch.
Week 4:
Statline: 6 TGTs | 6 REC | 148 REC YARDS
After a brief setback due to a minor shoulder injury, Brandon Aiyuk made an impressive comeback for the San Francisco 49ers. The budding fantasy star showed no signs of slowing down as he surpassed the century mark in receiving yards for the second time in just three attempts this season.
This achievement is even more remarkable considering Aiyuk only accomplished this feat once in the entire 2022 season. Now fully recovered, Aiyuk is ready to shift his focus to the upcoming Week 4 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.
What makes this game even more intriguing is the absence of the Cowboys' top corner, Trevon Diggs, who will be sidelined for the rest of the season due to a knee injury. With Diggs out of the picture, Aiyuk will have the opportunity to exploit the weakened Dallas defense and further establish himself as a dominant force on the field.
Week 3:
Statline: DNP (Shoulder)
After playing through a left shoulder injury during the 49ers win against the Rams in Week 2 (while still notching 3 catches for 43 receiving yards), the Niners decided to sideline Brandon Aiyuk to give their star receiver time to recover after a short week between games. Brandon Aiyuk was able to participate in limited practices throughout the week before ultimately being ruled out, which bodes well for his chances to play in Week 4 against Arizona..
Week 2:
Statline: 6 TGTs | 3 REC | 43 REC YARDS
Brandon Aiyuk had a solid performance in Week 2 as the San Francisco 49ers took on the Los Angeles Rams. The 49ers came out on top with a final score of 30-23, securing the victory.
Aiyuk contributed to the team's success with 3 receptions for 43 yards.. Aiyuk was targeted early and often before tweaking his shoulder which ultimately limited his playing time on the field. While he was able to play through the injury, his status for the Week 3 game against the Giants is currently up in the air.
Looking ahead, Aiyuk and the 49ers will face the New York Giants in Week 3.. If deemed healthy enough to play, Aiyuk will look to continue his breakout season for San Francisco.
Week 1:
Statline: 8 TGTs | 8 REC | 129 REC YARDS | 2 REC TDS
Brandon Aiyuk showcased his offseason work and contributed significantly to the San Francisco 49ers' victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Aiyuk's eight receptions and 129 receiving yards lead the team and were instrumental in the team's dominant 30-7 win.
Aiyuk's ability to find open spaces and make crucial catches proved to be a challenge for the Steelers' defense throughout the game. His two receiving touchdowns over Steelers cornerback Patrick Peterson showed Aiyuk's superstar potential. Brandon Aiyuk also had a critical block on a Christian McCaffrey touchdown run to open up the second half.
Looking ahead to Week 2, Aiyuk and the 49ers will face a tough challenge as they take on the Los Angeles Rams. With his exceptional performance in the previous game, Aiyuk will undoubtedly be a player to watch in this upcoming matchup.
